Too cute I die

Leon is always following us except when he was busy with Simba.

He jumps up on the table, chair and everything. 

He never gets angry or annoyed. Always friendly and show his desire straight.

I wish I could understand what he wants and fulfill his wish.

The King's bed

It's Simba's new favorite place, our bed!

He seems to love our gauze blanket.

He sleeps next to our bed right now. I hope he will snuggle with us on our bed some day.

Our beautiful feline, Leon...

He is friendly, easy going and lovable.

Simba and he played a lot together today. Simba was in a very good mode and snugged to us. I kissed him many times, yey! What a nice day!

Lick, lick, lick

Leon shows his love to Simba in many ways and one of them is licking.

Simba looks doesn't used to it and feels a bit uncomfortable with it. Leon knows how long Simba can stand it. He leave Simba alone after 10 lickings. 

We love seeing them getting along with each other.

Moody Simba

Simba is quit moody and he is not good at communication with cats as well as human beings. 

We are often struggled with figuring out what he wants.

Once he becomes in a bad mood, it's hard to please him.

Smelly....

Leon goes bonkers after pooping. He runs out of a litter box. We completely accept this post-poop freak-out behavior but not this time. He failed to cover his poos in a litter box and instead his left rear leg scratched his own poos! As usual, he bolted out a litter box and run excitedly in living room.

 

This spread out poos everywhere at home. Yuzo recognized it on a coffee table. Paw's prints with poo everywhere...

Leon got shampooed on his leg in the end.

Simba's acne scab looks almost falling off of his chin.

Cat's affection

I like kissing them but seems Leon dislike it for affection. For Simba, it is mostly likely depends on his mode. Unlike him, Leon is always in a good mode but doesn't allow us to be kissing him for more than 5 secs.

Simba, close to us more

Simba recently allows us to touch his body and tail. He looks still a bit scared of a hand patting on his head.

He bite my underarm a bit. I feel really happy that he learnt to play with us without a toy like Leon:)

The scab has formed over acne on Simba's chin. 

Leon snooze several times in the morning and evening.

 

 

Long body

They both play a lot recently. Leon likes a toy that moves fast. He also likes jumping, chasing a toy. 

He really does have a long body...

Simba is not so good at jumping but watching a toy that moves slow and catching it.

Their recent favorite play with us is a string that is hiding under cushions. They can play at the same time very close to me so this is also my favorite play too:)

Acne on Simba's chin looks better now. No more red spot but no hair spaces looks larger than yesterday... Maybe it's just my imagination but... 

 

Rapid movement

Simba is always slow to react. When playing with him, I always move a toy slowly.
However, Simba sometimes move fast!

The red spot on Simba's chin looks like an acne. Simba looks no concern about it so I think it should be OK but still I want to keep watching it everyday.

This is my sofa

There are several places Simba loves to sleep. One of them is a sofa in the living room. He says and most of the time on the sofa on weekdays.

Yes, this is my sofa... Ahhh.. good.... zzzzz

Today's health check:

Leon's bee bite on the left hand has gone.

There is a red spot on Simba's chin. I assume it's Leon's bite. It swelled a bit. I wanted to put ointment on it which is hard to ask. Need to keep watching on his chin till tomorrow night. 

 

Bee bites me!

In the morning, a bee came into our home. Simba and Leon started to watch a bug, sometimes punching it. At this point of time, we didn't know it was a bee.

After several punches they gave, Leon suddenly run out from the bee and wiggled his left hand. We immediately got rid of the bug and saw his paw. It looked OK but he seemed a bit shocked on this.

He hid in my long skirt and stayed calm which is a bit rare because normally he wants me to play with him in the skirt. I thought he was really shocked.

However, it last only a half hour. He got over it quickly and began to play with us.

In the afternoon, we found his paw swelled. The other symptom was unseen and he was in good condition so much as always that we decided keeping an eye on him next 24 hours and if anything we would go to vet.

The left paw was a bit bigger than normal.

It was first time after first 2 days they came to our home that Leon didn't poo....

Except Leon's front left paw swell, everything is going well.

 

Time for pool!

It's getting hotter and hotter in Singapore.

I think the hottest month in May. We can start to enjoy swimming at pool in our condominium.

This swimming ring is the must item for me.

Leon didn't sneeze today. Simba's eye infection slightly remained.

 

Simba, the raccoon

Simba sometimes looks like a raccoon and so cute.

I love this because I believe it is the sign he is relaxed. I want him to become to know that there is no enemy at home and nothing to worry about.

Recently, he often plays with a toy or Leon very close to me. Today he was just next to me as there was nothing between us even air! I was so happy! I love Simba!

Saw Simba's eye infection on right a bit. It's not getting worth and I think it's common eye problem with Simba.

 

Snuggling close to us

Leon snuggles close to us from time to time at night.

He prefers sleeping at the place of either in front of our chests when we sleep on our side or on the top of our head like this:

It looks like Leon got a head-butt from Yuzo or the other way around.lol

Leon was sneezing in the morning. It started a week ago and he dose less than 10 times only in every morning. No other symptoms...

Door Grill

They both like the view from the main entrance. It's sealed with the grill and mesh which won't let them go so we can keep it open.

Our neighbors sometimes realized them but not bother them. 

When they stare out of the door, they are very quiet and looks having fun at finding something they don't see the inside.

Bugs, bird's feather blowed by window, gekos and so on.

We are trying to have them not bored as we know if they go outside there are so many things to catch their eyes like butterflies, dragon flies, flowers and nature.

However, we won't let them go as there are lots of risks that frighten their life at the same time.

bend in a peculiar way

今日は2人ともいっぱい遊んだ。

紐で遊んだんだけど、シンバもレオンも食いつきが良かった。

シンバなんかは、レオンに横取りされたと思って、何度かレオンのお尻を叩いて怒ってた。

シンバはかなり私に近いところで遊んでて、時々私はシンバの爪の被害にあった。

けれど、いいのだ。シンバが、レオンが楽しそうだから。

今日の写真はレオン。

レオンは結構軟体だと思う。あとレオンは長い。

この折れ方、どこか間違ってないか？と思ってしまう。

小顔で細身なのも手伝って、すっごく長く見える。

今度はレオンの長さがわかる写真を雄三にとってもらおう。

シンバの右目が少しピンク。また喧嘩で少しやっちゃったかなー。

レオンが時々びっくりしてる。今までなかったので、何があったのかちょっときになる。

レオンのクシャミは朝のみ数回。鼻水飛ばしてた。何が原因だろうか。他の症状はなし。

Cut an ear a bit much

レオンもシンバも、保護されてすぐに去勢手術を受けていて、去勢済みのしるしとして片耳がカットされている。

レオンの片耳は小さい時にカットされたのか、カット幅が大きい。

シンバは長さ的に5分の1カットされているのに対し、レオンは3分の1くらいカットされている。

シンバ。レオンに遊びを断られ、ちょっとふて寝。

今日はレオンはパワーが有り余っているらしく、ちょう遊んで欲しがり。

シンバの誘いを断り、人間に遊んで欲しいらしい。

ネコの身体なら一緒に遊び転げてあげれるのになぁと思う。

今日は久しぶりにコンドミニアムのプールに行った。太陽でプールの水はぬるくなっていて、1時間弱、2人でゆるゆるお話しながら、プールでぷかぷかしてた。ここ数週間、あまりに大容量の情報と新しい責任でかなりまいっていたけど、ちょっとリフレッシュ。東南アジアリゾートのプール気分だった。雄三の顔を見て、ゆっくち会話できたなぁ。幸せ。

こういう時間、もっと欲しいな。

いまから5月まで、プール日和！毎週リフレッシュだ！

レオンが時々クシャミ。空気が臭いのでそのせいかも。ヘイズの時期かしら。

 

 

Leon vs Simba

シンバ5.5キロ、レオン3.5キロ。体格がかなり違うけど、喧嘩ゴッコ頑張ってます。

もちろん遊びなので、シンバもソフトけりけりだし、シンバが追いかけられたり、追いかけたり、交互にやってる。

2人の遊びは見ていて楽しい。

遊びってわかるくらい、2人とも楽しんでやってるから、見ていて楽しい。

でも体格がかなり違う。レオン頑張ってるなぁ。

今日の健康:

レオンのクシャミは朝に数回。他にも昼間に数回していた。

最近ヘイズが出てきたから、そのせいかな？それとも暑くなってきて、エアコンを少しつけることがあるからか？

 

Time for Milk

夜寝る前にホットミルク、ではなく、ぬるミルクを飲む。

シンバがミルク好きなので、ネコにあわせて超ぬるめ。

そこにプレミアムアミコラを投入する。

一度アミコラなしの、ぬるミルクをあげてみたけど、飲まなかったので、ずっとアミコラ入り。

アミコラ入れると少し甘くなる。夜のミルクにちょうどいい。

ネコにミルクはよくないって話もあるけど、シンバのウンコ見る限り大丈夫そう。夜をウェットフードにして、一緒にミルクを飲むようになって、シンバの切れ痔はなくなったので、ミルクはやめられないのだ。レオンはまったく飲まない。

この微妙な距離。もう少し近づけるけど、快適に飲んで欲しいので、この距離。

人にも一人一人パーソナルスペースがあるようにネコにもあると思うから。

雄三がちょいお腹痛いした。

 

Hand to hand

シンバとレオンはだんだん近くなってる。喧嘩も楽しんでやってる。

でもまだ2人くっついてゆっくりしてたりはしない。

シンバは1人でゆったりするのが好きでパーソナルスペースが広い方なのだ。

1人で生きてきたからだろうか？

それでもレオンはちょっとづつ、近づいていく。

今回はお手手タッチ成功。

シンバも少しの間、このままでいてくれた。偉いぞレオン。偉いぞシンバ。

もっともっと仲良くなぁれ。

Cat massage for Simba

おとといはシンバとのラブラブタイムが少なくなったことを書いた。やはりレオンの前では甘えられないようだった。

今朝、雄三が日課の床掃除をしてくれている時にシンバがいっぱい甘えてきてくれた。

レオンはクイックルワイパーやダイソンなどが苦手。椅子とか大きなものが動くのも苦手。なので掃除時間は、あまり自由に動けないみたい。

シンバと私はその時玄関に近いところにいて、レオンは離れたところにいた。

そしたら、こんなことに！

すりすり〜が4分ぐらい続いた後、私の足の下に！

しかもネコマッサージまでさせてくれた！感激！嬉しい！

前にネコマッサージをしたのは、1ヶ月も前。

その時は、頭も首も凝り固まっていたけど、今回はかなり柔らかくなってた。

レオンはもっと柔らかい。

シンバには、もっともっとこの家でリラックスして、ゆるゆるになってほしいな。

夜には私の背中側にお腹を上にして寝転んで、足を背中に付けて、紐で遊んでました。足の爪があたってちょっと痛いかな〜って思ったけど、でもそれでも幸せだったぁ。

もっとこんなシンバとのふれあいが増えますように！

レオンは3時前から朝だけクシャミを何回かしている。夜寒い？いや人間は暑く感じてますが。

 

 

Working from home

今日は雄三がおうちでお仕事だった。

もちろんレオンが雄三を放っておくわけない。

猫を飼っている家によくある光景が、うちにも！

このあとレオンは携帯を踏んづけて、それが偶然、私に電話がかかってしまった。携帯もあやつるレオン。。。

Dancing?

シンバとのラブラブタイムが最近はない。

甘えてきたと思ったら、10秒で終わっちゃう。レオンが入り込んでくるからかな？

それとも最近は、通常時に前よりもずっと人間の近くにいてくれてるので、シンバとしては、人間の近くはそれが精一杯なのかな。

最近本当に、人間の近くにきてくれてすごく嬉しい。

レオンにも自分から近づこうとしたりしてる。でも、その度にタイミングが悪いのか、レオンも自分でシンバに近づいた時にいっぱい振られてるから悔しいのか、レオンにちょっぴり冷たくされるのだ。

こんなに近くに来ても、足パカーリラックスモードをやめないシンバ。嬉しいよ。踊ってるみたい？

レオンはとってもおしゃべりだ。

寝てる時と食べている時以外は、だいたいしゃべっている。心の声がダダ漏れだ。

頑張ってはいるけれど、でも退屈にさせてるのかもしれない。

こんな退屈な我らと一緒に暮らしてくれてありがとう。レオン&シンバ。

シンバはミルクが好き。プレミアムアミコラ入りミルクが好き。

小さじ5杯を綺麗に平らげる。

ミルク飲んでるところを撮ろうとしたら、おもしろい写真撮れた。

殿堂入り:レオンが狂う、ネズミのおもちゃ(うさぎの革を使用)

シンガポールにはうさぎのファーを使ったおもちゃがない。日本からママが送ってくれたそれは、レオンが肩で息をしてしまうまで1人で遊び続けるくらいのレオンのお気に入り。

通常はそれは隠してある。

いつもは紐が人気。シンバも紐が大好き。

2人で食らいついてくる。

仲良しな感じがして私は好き。前はシンバはレオンと目があうと、遠慮するのか、恥ずかしいのか、気が散ったのかやめることも多かったけど最近はそういうことはあまりないような気がする。

ボールはレオンもシンバも1人で遊ぶことも多い。でも、ボールがよくなくなるんだけど、この家具の少ない家でどこにいってしまうんだろうか。。。謎だ。。。

Simba on our bed!

衝撃的だった。自分の目を疑った。

今朝雄三が見せてくれた写真。

シンバが私の足のところにいる！しかもベッドの上！

この時、爆睡中だった私は気づかず。くっ！

しかもこの時、私の背中あたりにはレオンもいたらしい。

レオンは1ヶ月前くらいから、すでに私たちの足のところか、頭の上あたりで寝てくれていた。

今回は、シンバと共に！ってのが萌えポイント。

シンバはだんだん、じりじりと距離を縮めてくれてる。私たちからは、まだ触れないんだけどね。少しずつ少しずつ。。。

雪じゃなくベッドだけど。

シンガポールで雪はないので、寒いのが苦手な私は体調が崩れることなく嬉しいけど、ねこ団子や膝のりがないのがさみしい。

うちのベッドは低反発マットレスの大御所、テンピュール。

ねこの足跡がしっかりつく。

かわゆす。

これはレオンのなので、そのうちシンバのも見れたら嬉しい。

雄三の口内炎はじょじょに良くなっている。お腹はまだ少し重いらしい。

Dry food only in Morning

うちは朝はカリカリだ。

泣いても笑ってもカリカリだ。

シンバさんも最近カリカリに文句を言わず食べてくれるようになった。

夕方帰ると、2匹から激しいご飯催促がある。

2人ともキッチンの上にまで上がってくる。

レオンはうなぁおおぉ！うなぁおおぉ！！！とだんだんボリュームを上げて催促。

一方シンバさんは、体格にあわず声がかわいい。

ひ弱い声で、ひなぁぁと泣くのだ。かわいいのだ。
 

それと最近遊ぶときにすこし人間の近くでもシンバさんは大丈夫になってきたっぽい。

今日などは、紐のおもちゃをフリフリしたら、シンバさんがずざざーと寄って私の足の上で紐をキャッチ。

シンバの体重を足の甲で初めて感じた。しあわせなり。

その後、2回ほど上を見上げて、近づきすぎたと思ったのか、さっさとベランダに行ってしまった。
